Sheltered by the Sierras of Tejeda and Almijara, Torrox and its hamlet of El Morche, offer the contrast between the traditional image of these lands and the adaptation to the new times.
Only 30 minutes from the historic centre of Malaga, and 60 km from its international airport (Pablo Ruiz Picasso, AGP), Torrox has 9 kilometres of beaches such as El Morche, Torcasol, Ferrara, El Peñoncillo ….. where there are all kinds of services.
Recognised as “the best climate in Europe”. This particular situation is due on the one hand to the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, which reduces the thermal amplitude, and on the other hand to the shelter of the Almijara mountain range, a combination which means that temperatures in Torrox are moderate both in winter and summer.
This, together with its duality, between the traditional in Torrox Pueblo, and the more modern, Torrox Playa and El Morche, make it a very complete destination, as it has a little bit of everything.
