This part of Torrox Costa is the newest in terms of buildings and is divided into two areas. The apartment buildings are located along part of the N-340, and the upper area, known as Terrazas del Peñoncillo, is made up of single-family homes. El Peñoncillo is just a few minutes’ walk from the roundabout at the entrance to Torrox, and therefore close to all amenities. However, the beach area is full of beach bars and restaurants. It is 1.5 km to the centre of Torrox Costa and the bus station, 65 km to the airport (40 minutes), and there is a bus stop in the beach area for buses to Torrox, Nerja or Malaga.
