[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This blog, not only aims to be a window of information on the real estate market, but, with my knowledge of Andalusia, I also want to encourage you to visit the rest of the Andalusian territory, that’s why I dare to talk about places, obviously in those places I have properties for sale or rent, or I have the ability to offer accommodation, good food, landscapes, activities, etc … Because we do not forget that the goat throws into the bush, and I have never stopped being a Tourism Technician, and a lover of Andalusia and its rich heritage.<\/p>\n

Without a doubt, of the beautiful villages, where I have been, Zuheros, and I have been many times, is among the ones I like the most. Not only is it beautiful, but it also manages, from the very moment you see it appear on the horizon, nestled there in that small mountain range that borders the Natural Park of the Sierras Subb\u00e9ticas, that you want to go visit it.<\/p>\n

Its origin is Muslim because of the construction of the castle on the rocks at the end of the 9th century, which was called “Sujaira”. It was later the border between Castile and the Nazar\u00ed kingdom of Granada, because it was a difficult enclave to take. And it is undoubtedly the Castle, the most visible part that breaks, with the immaculate white of its houses.<\/p>\n

Once in Zuheros, one realizes the beauty and how they have managed to maintain the charm of another era through time. Its streets are narrow and winding, with a multitude of small squares and corners full of traditional flavour. In addition, it has been of Cultural Interest since 2003.<\/p>\n

One of the things that always caught my attention, is how the Zuhere\u00f1os have adapted to the orography, as they have no problem using a square to walk, play football or basketball, or organize a fair, a party or event of another caliber. Without a doubt, one of the most important, not counting the fair or Holy Week, is at the end of September, the National Artisan Cheese Fair.<\/p>\n

Zuheros also has culinary treasures, which can be tasted in its best known restaurants, such as the Mojete de Papas, a potato stew, egg and bread. But there are many more, in addition to its artisan cheeses.<\/p>\n

It is a place to visit, for more than a day, for all that can be seen and done, because to all the above, we must add that it is part of the Green Track of the Oil Train, which links Ja\u00e9n and Puente Genil, and are more than 128 km long, in which there are some of the most beautiful and important cities in Andalusia. That gives for another entrance, I will do it later.<\/p>\n

In the surroundings of Zuheros, in addition, there are infinity of beautiful rural ways and marked footpaths, to make trekking, besides a visitable cave, the Cave of the Bats.<\/p>\n

In short, there is always something to do in Zuheros, unless we like to entrap ourselves with its peace, and with that, less and less common, integration into nature, to enjoy it and live it.<\/p>\n

To get there, you can go through both Malaga and Granada, if you are visiting from Torrox or Nerja.
