More than 300 days of sunshine per year<\/strong><\/h1>\n

On the coast we have a wonderful climate with more than 300 sunny days a year. When the light shines it makes you want to go out to the street or to the countryside and enjoy, and here you can do it all year round.\u00a0If we talk about Torrox, considered the best climate in Europe, or Nerja, only 5 km away, with subtropical climate, the winter is very mild, and the cold is very localized in one or two weeks a year, not lower than 10 degrees.<\/p>\n

Gastronomic passion<\/h1>\n

Gastronomy is another factor to take into account. Its ten Michelin stars are only the tip of the iceberg for lovers of good cuisine. And beyond modernity, tradition is still present in dishes such as the famous espetos (sardines roasted at the stake). The Axarqu\u00eda area, with its subtropical climate, is the ideal place to taste all kinds of fruit and vegetables all year round.<\/p>\n

Contrasts<\/h1>\n

The orography has made the province of Malaga the most varied. If in the Axarqu\u00eda there is a subtropical climate and also a mountain that exceeds two thousand metres in height, in Ronda there is a beautiful city and chestnut forests, in Antequera a rich and fertile plain next to the curious shapes of the stones of El Torcal and in the Costa del Sol… a few kilometres away many possibilities of leisure in nature, without taking into account those that the sea offers us.<\/p>\n

A day to the mountain and another to the sea<\/h1>\n

As we say the orography has made us very rich in leisure, the province has 184 kilometers of coastline to enjoy the Mediterranean in hidden coves and beaches with all services for tourists, but is also one of the three most mountainous provinces of Spain. The freedom to choose is always an argument to keep in mind.<\/p>\n

Quality of life<\/h1>\n

M\u00e1laga capital is always in the top ten of the best European cities to live in, as elaborated by the Eurobarometer. And not only because of its climate or geography, security, employment or housing influence there…<\/p>\n

More smiles<\/h1>\n

A study by the Happiness Research Institute revealed in 2018 that Malaga is the most smiling city in the world. And it’s contagious, so it’s easier to be happy here.<\/p>\n

Multitude of cultural proposals<\/h1>\n

With 37 museums there are options for all tastes. For the contemporary art of Pompidou, to discover the artistic wonders of Russia in the Russian Museum, go into the exciting work of Picasso, visit the Wine Museum to learn about the long winemaking tradition of the province, the Glass Museum, the Thyssen, the Easter Week, and that only in Malaga, The Cave of Nerja, the many cultural and recreational activities in each city.<\/p>\n

Infinite towns to get lost…<\/h1>\n

Salares is one of them, with little more than 200 inhabitants, at the foot of a natural spot and a marvellous Mudejar tower. Nerja, enamora, Torrox or Canillas de Albaida take you back in time, El Acebuchal, C\u00f3mpeta, Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. J\u00fazcar you can become a Smurf and in Alpandeire meet some mummies. And so on, up to 103 municipalities.<\/p>\n

Walk 100 metres up the Caminito del Rey, taste a curious purple carrot or an almond cheese without milk, admire cave paintings made 60,000 years ago, be surprised by the Dolmens of Menga and Viera, get close to the only Mozarabic church of the 9th century, get lost in a forest of prehistoric firs, the madness of Colomares Castle… do you still need more reasons?<\/p>\n

The possibilities of escaping… to return!<\/h1>\n

Malaga airport has direct connections with more than one hundred cities around the world. So it’s always possible to escape to travel, get to know other places… and want to return home because, like on the coast of Malaga, you don’t live anywhere.<\/p>\n
