Located in the village of Acebuchal, between Cómpeta and Frigiliana. It is also known as “El pueblo perdido” or “El pueblo fantasma”, El Acebuchal in a village located in a privileged area right in the heart of the Sierras Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park.
The village of Acebuchal was founded in the 17th century. The village is located on a route of muleteers between Granada and Malaga. Here the merchants who were passing by stopped to rest.
Today, it is a haven of peace, with no mobile phone coverage, perfect for trekking and getting away from the worldly noise.
